About this role

A National Project Officer (Private Sector Engagement) with IOM Nigeria to support private sector partnerships, CSR and fundraising, programme development and knowledge management. Suitable for candidates with experience in private sector engagement and donor relations, fluent in English.

What you would do

• Support engagement with private sector stakeholders including diaspora, government, civil society and IFIs
• Contribute to implementing IOM Nigeria’s Private Sector Engagement Strategy
• Map and maintain a database of private sector stakeholders for partnerships and CSR opportunities
• Assist in developing innovative initiatives and value propositions for private sector partners
• Support design of scalable partnership models and identify new programme opportunities
• Prepare reports, outreach materials and maintain records of engagement activities

What they are asking for

• Master’s degree in International Relations, International Development, Political or Social Sciences, Migration Studies, Law or related field with five years of relevant experience; or Bachelor’s degree with seven years of relevant experience
• Experience in private sector engagement, CSR initiatives, partnership development or corporate fundraising
• Experience providing technical guidance on private sector engagement in development or humanitarian sectors
• Experience mapping corporate actors, outreach, facilitating partnerships and donor relations
• Experience in programme development, proposal writing or resource mobilisation is an asset
• Strong analytical, planning and communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders and maintain confidentiality
