About this role
A Surveyor is needed to support planning, measurement, costing, maintenance, renovation and development of the hotel’s physical infrastructure and property projects for West Swiss Hotel. The position is with Domeo Resources International (DRI) and is based in Abuja.
What you would do
- Conduct site surveys, measurements, inspections of hotel buildings, facilities and surrounding properties.
- Prepare measurements, estimates and schedules of materials and project documentation.
- Monitor construction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and standards.
- Verify quantities of materials and review contractors' valuations, invoices and claims before submission for approval.
- Maintain records of surveys, measurements, drawings, project costs and completed works.
- Liaise with the Facility Manager, Civil Engineer, contractors, architects and consultants to support project delivery.
What they are asking for
- BSc/HND in Quantity Surveying, Land Surveying, Building Technology or related discipline.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in hotel, commercial, residential, construction, or property development projects.
- Knowledge of construction processes, measurements, materials and project documentation.
- Ability to prepare or interpret Bills of Quantities, estimates, drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant surveying, estimating or CAD software.
- Professional membership or relevant certification is an advantage.
