Surveillance Operator

About this role

The role is to oversee the daily operations of the Physical Security Operations Center, monitor security events, analyse incidents and respond to threats, while guiding the team to maintain a continuous 24/7 security posture. It is aimed at someone with security operations experience who can improve P-SOC processes and performance.

What you would do

• Oversee P-SOC operations and ensure compliance with security standards
• Monitor and analyse video surveillance and telemetry data
• Identify threats and develop use cases for security monitoring
• Coordinate data collection and analysis from internal and external sources and produce security updates
• Develop metrics, dashboards and reports for P-SOC operations for stakeholders
• Provide incident response support and communicate security information and recommendations to management

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science or security-related field
• Relevant professional security certification (added advantage)
• Minimum of three years' relevant security experience
• Knowledge of security systems and management
• Strong communication, analytical and supervisory skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and security-related tools
