Surveillance Operator

About this role

A Surveillance Operator is needed to oversee the Physical Security Operations Center (P-SOC) in Lagos, analysing security events, monitoring video and telemetry, and guiding the security team to maintain a 24/7 security posture. The role targets individuals with security or science-based qualifications and at least three years of relevant experience who can manage security data, reports, and incident response.

What you would do

• Monitor security events and systems for anomalies and threats.
• Analyse incidents and provide security context, updates and recommendations.
• Maintain P-SOC performance metrics, dashboards and reports.
• Coordinate communications and meetings with security teams and stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support and incident escalation.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and SLAs and assist with training and leadership for security staff.
