Support Services Analyst III
About this role
Contract role for a Support Services Analyst III with Scruples Resources Limited, based in Ikoyi, Lagos. It targets an oil and gas IT professional to manage enterprise IT systems, hardware and software, and to oversee IT service contractors for IT infrastructure and telecoms services.
What you would do
- Perform professional, technical and analytical duties in operating enterprise, client/server and desktop computer systems and networks.
- Analyse, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies.
- Configure and install computer hardware and software.
- Manage inventory control of IT equipment and supplies and maintain asset and software tracking.
- Upgrade hardware and software components.
- Monitor system performance and oversee IT service contractors for IT infrastructure and telecoms (onshore and offshore).
What they are asking for
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in the oil and gas industry; applications from candidates without this experience will be rejected.
- Extensive knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems, software and network communication protocols.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Experience overseeing IT service contractors for IT infrastructure and telecoms (onshore and offshore).
- Professional IT certification may be held.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
