Support & Integration Engineer

About this role

Glovo in Lagos is looking for a Support & Integration Engineer to handle production support for client integrations, triage issues, and drive end-to-end investigation with engineering. The role involves diagnosing problems in client API integrations, translating issues for clients and internal teams, and maintaining documentation and internal tooling.

What you would do

• Triage production issues and set severity for clients
• Investigate failed or missing transactions end to end and identify root cause
• Distinguish client integration errors from platform defects with supporting evidence
• Reproduce defects and provide actionable reports to the engineering team
• Validate fixes post-release and update clients accordingly
• Maintain internal runbooks and contribute small backend fixes and tests

What they are asking for

• Proficiency in NestJS and TypeScript; Go is valuable
• Strong experience with MongoDB and Mongoose; SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge
• Ability to read and debug large production codebases you didn't write
• Design and consume RESTful APIs; explain them to a client's developer
• Proficient with unit testing, test-driven development, and code reliability
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture, and familiarity with Git and code reviews
