Supply Planning Executive
About this role
The Supply Planning Executive in Lagos converts the approved demand plan into a feasible supply plan limited by capacity and material availability, aiming to deliver customer service while optimising inventory, manufacturing efficiency and working capital. The role works with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Finance and Customer Service to ensure end-to-end supply continuity for Godrej Nigeria's portfolio and to drive planning process improvements including SAP/MRP effectiveness.
What you would do
- Develop and maintain the 12-18 month supply plan aligned with the approved demand plan.
- Translate demand requirements into production and replenishment requirements.
- Create detailed production plans within capacity, labour, material and equipment constraints.
- Monitor production plan adherence and resolve deviations.
- Manage material planning and availability using SAP/MRP, monitor lead times and shortages, and collaborate with Procurement on shortages and supplier constraints.
- Optimise finished-goods and overall inventory levels.
What they are asking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning or Demand & Supply Planning, preferably in FMCG/manufacturing.
- Experience managing supply plans across multiple SKUs, production lines and/or manufacturing sites.
- Experience using SAP/MRP to translate demand into material and production requirements.
- Experience in inventory optimisation, safety stock, material availability and supply-risk management.
- Experience participating in S&OP/IBP processes and presenting supply scenarios and recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication and collaboration skills.
