Supply Planning Executive

The role is for a Supply Planning Executive in Lagos, Nigeria, focussing on turning the demand plan into a feasible supply plan. What you would do

• Develop and maintain a 12–18 month supply plan aligned with the demand plan.
• Translate demand requirements into production and replenishment requirements.
• Create detailed production plans within capacity, labour, material and equipment constraints.
• Monitor plan adherence and resolve deviations.
• Identify capacity constraints and propose mitigation actions.
• Convert production needs into RM/PM requirements using SAP/MRP and monitor material availability.
• Manage safety stock and replenishment parameters; escalate critical supply risks with recovery plans.
• Maintain finished-goods inventory within target levels and minimise excess or obsolescence.
• Maintain a forward-looking supply risk and constraint dashboard and escalate risks.
• Provide inputs to the IBP/S&OP cycle and translate actions into the operational supply plan.

• Experience managing supply plans across multiple SKUs, lines or sites.
• Experience using SAP/MRP to translate demand into material and production requirements.
• Experience in inventory optimisation, safety stock, material availability and supply-risk management.
• Experience participating in S&OP/IBP processes and presenting supply scenarios and recommendations.
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• End-to-end understanding of supply planning and manufacturing planning processes.
• Knowledge of FMCG supply-chain dynamics, capacity planning, and scheduling.
• Understanding of local and imported supply chains, lead times and risk management.
• Awareness of working-capital implications of inventory and service levels.
