Supply Chain / Procurement Officer
About this role
A full-time Supply Chain / Procurement Officer role based in Warri, Delta, focused on managing end-to-end procurement activities for Oil & Gas, EPC and engineering projects and coordinating with multiple internal teams.
What you would do
- Understand requirements from project and other teams
- Prepare quotation comparisons and procurement recommendations
- Identify alternative sources to improve pricing and delivery
- Verify supplier and quotation compliance with specifications
- Negotiate pricing, terms and delivery conditions
- Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate quotations and manage purchase orders to delivery
What they are asking for
- CIPS or similar certification is an advantage
- Degree or HND in a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Engineering)
- 3–5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas procurement or related field
- Experience with supplier sourcing, RFQ management, quotation evaluation and PO management
- Experience with procurement software/ERP systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with NIPEX, NOGIC JQS or Nigerian Oil & Gas procurement requirements is an advantage
