The role leads commercial procurement and supply chain activities for growth projects and wells in the Nigerian upstream and related sectors. What you would do
- Lead supply chain management for growth projects and wells, including contractor prequalification, competitive tenders, commercial evaluation and negotiations
- Develop contracting strategies for drilling services, engineering, construction and equipment
- Manage major tenders, schedule risk and claims
- Oversee onshore E&P and refinery supply interfaces, contractor-led execution, critical equipment, operational shutdowns and remote-site logistics
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Content requirements and applicable NCDMB contracting steps, NUPRC or NMDPRA permissions
What they are asking for
- Degree or equivalent qualification in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, law or related field
- 10–15+ years in wells or capital-project contracting with major tenders, schedule risk and claims
- Experience with Nigerian onshore execution and Nigerian Content requirements, NCDMB contracting steps, NUPRC or NMDPRA permissions
- Experience in onshore E&P and refinery supply interfaces, contractor-led execution, critical equipment, operational shutdowns and remote-site logistics
- Experience leading contractor prequalification, competitive tenders, commercial evaluation and negotiations
- Experience developing contracting strategies for drilling services, engineering, construction and equipment
- Based in Nigeria
- Preferred: MCIPS or equivalent professional capability
