Supply Chain Management Lead 1 – Enterprise Coordination
About this role
A senior supply chain leadership role based in Lagos, Nigeria, focused on enterprise coordination across oil and gas operations. The position leads complex contracting and transformation delivery for onshore exploration, production and refining, coordinating the five‑position SCM function to secure, competitive and compliant supply. It involves owning corporate and service categories and handling early upstream and gas studies within the onshore E&P, gas, refining and growth activities. The role operates within the delegated authority framework and requires collaboration with finance and compliance functions. What you would do
- Lead enterprise‑level supply chain coordination across oil and gas operations.
- Direct complex contracting and transformation programmes.
- Manage supply interfaces for onshore exploration and production and refinery activities, including contractor‑led execution and remote‑site logistics.
- Apply Nigerian Content requirements and verify permissions through technical and compliance functions.
- Embed HSSE, quality, environmental and community requirements into procurement and supplier assessment.
- Lead category strategies, market engagement, whole‑life cost analysis, negotiation and supplier governance.
What they are asking for
- Degree or equivalent in supply chain, engineering, business, finance, law or related field.
- 12–15+ years of experience in oil and gas supply chain management, including enterprise leadership, complex contracting and transformation delivery.
- Experience with onshore E&P and refinery supply interfaces, contractor‑led execution, critical equipment, operational shutdowns and remote‑site logistics.
- Experience applying Nigerian Content requirements and NCDMB contracting steps; verify permissions via technical and compliance functions.
- Experience including HSSE, quality, environmental and community requirements in procurement and supplier assessment; leading category strategies, market engagement, whole‑life cost analysis, negotiation and supplier governance.
- Based in Nigeria.
- Preferred: MCIPS or equivalent professional capability.
