Supply Chain / Export Officer

About this role

A Supply Chain / Export Officer role based in Lagos for a Nigerian food and nutrition manufacturing company. The position covers procurement, supply chain coordination, PPIC, inventory management, and export activities, suitable for candidates with several years of experience in SCM, procurement, logistics or export alike.

What you would do

• Manage procurement activities including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchasing and delivery follow-up
• Coordinate supply chain to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials and other items
• Support PPIC activities to align materials and inventory with production requirements
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to avoid shortages or excess
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and maintain supplier relationships
• Coordinate export activities from order processing to shipment and delivery and prepare export documents

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree or HND in SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or related field
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, PPIC, Logistics, Export or related roles
• Experience in PPIC including material planning, inventory monitoring, production coordination and demand/supply planning
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing preferred
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, supplier management, logistics, PPIC and export procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
