About this role
Role: Supervisor - Finance at Bell Oil & Gas in Lagos. The role provides support to the finance function, handling financing transactions, assisting in the preparation of management accounts, and overseeing financial control and reporting.
What you would do
- Compile and track financing requests from prospective financiers
- Assist in preparing management accounts by day 14 of each month
- Post payables and related vouchers to the correct GL accounts with proper descriptions
- Ensure SAP postings are traceable and retrievable within 30 minutes of request
- Perform monthly reconciliations of key accounts (advance payments, salaries, loans, trade payables)
- Prepare and reconcile bank, payroll, and loan schedules and other financial reports to GL
What they are asking for
- University degree in accounting, finance or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' professional experience
- ICAN or ACCA certification is mandatory
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Proficiency with an accounting ERP (SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with upstream oil and gas transactions is an added advantage
