DP World Nigeria is seeking a Supervisor for Facilities in Lagos. The role focuses on keeping facilities in optimal operating condition through maintenance, lease and rent renewals, and contract negotiation. What you would do
- Prepare and update lease schedules for properties on lease and monitor renewal timelines.
- Prepare, negotiate, renew and manage lease agreements with service or property providers.
- Collate and analyse vendor tenders for contract awards.
- Inspect availability and suitability of new premises before engagement.
- Liaise with government agencies for payments and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to emergencies or urgent issues and manage consequences.
- Organise routine maintenance of company assets.
- Oversee general facility maintenance in Lagos and Ibadan MDS guest house.
- Monitor condition of warehouses and offices and coordinate repairs.
- Conduct project inspections and report status to Technical Manager.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Diploma in facilities management, sciences, or related management field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, including contracts/repairs and negotiation.
- Experience with leases and rent renewals for third-party warehouses.
- General awareness of industry knowledge, government agencies and regulatory authorities.
- Understanding of health, safety and environment requirements.
- Experience in contract and lease management and preparation of operating reports.
