Structural Engineer

About this role

Jite Projekts Limited seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join its Lagos team. The role focuses on planning, analysis, design and review of structural systems for piling and construction projects, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

What you would do

• Provide technical support during tendering and project estimation
• Carry out site inspections and offer guidance on structural matters
• Participate in design reviews, client meetings and technical presentations
• Review drawings for structural adequacy and constructability
• Coordinate with geotechnical, project and construction teams to optimise designs
• Prepare structural reports, calculations and technical documents

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural or related field
• Minimum 5 years of structural design and construction project experience
• Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, ProtaStructure, Robot or similar)
• Understanding of foundation engineering and construction methods
• Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
• COREN registration or progress towards professional registration (advantage)
