Strategic Information Specialist
About this role
A state-level strategic information role responsible for performance measurement, data quality, analysis and reporting to support program and milestone management. Suitable for professionals with M&E/SI experience in health programs and leadership abilities to mentor data staff.
What you would do
- Conduct routine data-quality assessments and track corrective actions.
- Supervise and mentor SI Officers and data personnel.
- Support government information systems and data-use forums.
- Coordinate data collection, validation, reconciliation and submission across sites and partners.
- Produce analyses at state, LGA, facility and partner levels for program improvement.
- Maintain milestone denominators, numerators, source references and audit-ready evidence.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Demography, Information Systems or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of M&E/SI experience in complex health programs, including data quality, analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Excel/data-analysis capability and strong knowledge of routine health information systems.
- Experience in data visualization, documentation, coaching and attention to detail.
