About this role

The Strategic Finance Lead at Welcome2Africa in Abuja is responsible for creating and maintaining a consolidated financial view across multiple entities, forecasting cash flows, and guiding funding moves. The role supports the Group CEO, interacts with investors and lenders, and ensures margins and terms are validated before execution.

What you would do

• Set the group’s financial strategy and translate it into budgets and capital plans for each entity.
• Build a consolidated financial view with rolling forecasts and cash-flow models.
• Manage the group’s debts and liabilities, including creditor relationships and funding strategy.
• Validate margins and commercial terms before any mandate or trade moves to execution.
• Develop financial models for holding company capital raises, entity plans, and group structures.
• Support investor relations and prepare financial information for due diligence and investor materials.

What they are asking for

• Professional accounting or finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent).
• Significant experience in strategic finance, FP&A or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modelling skills and experience supporting capital raises or investor due diligence.
• Experience in a multi-entity or cross-border business; exposure to commodity trade, trade finance or investment advisory is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate financial insights to leadership and provide actionable guidance.
• Builder mindset with ability to create order in evolving structures.
