Store Officer
About this role
The Store Officer role at Dangote in Benue involves handling inbound material receipts, validating documents for goods received notes, and coordinating the receipt and issue process to maintain stock accuracy. It targets candidates with 2–3 years of stores and inventory management experience, a relevant degree, and preferably knowledge of ERP/SAP.
What you would do
- Receive inbound materials and verify delivery notes against purchase orders.
- Identify and resolve delivery discrepancies; follow up with Procurement to close the PO.
- Liaise with user departments to reconcile records, especially for critical or insurance parts.
- Monitor store layout utilisation and ensure materials are stored in designated locations.
- Prepare and process gate passes for outward material movements with proper documentation.
- Return faulty credit stock or deliveries to suppliers promptly.

- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Statistics, Accounting, or Purchasing & Supply.
- 2-3 years' working experience in stores and inventory management.
- Knowledge of ERP SAP is an added advantage (SAP MM).
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent team player with in-depth knowledge of stock handling.
