Store Manager Receiving - Gboko

About this role

The Dangote Group seeks a Store Manager, Receiving to lead all inbound receiving activities at the DCP Gboko Plant, ensuring timely, safe and accurate receipt, inspection and documentation of incoming materials, spare parts and consumables in line with Dangote policies and HSE standards. The role targets a senior professional with extensive warehouse receiving experience and supervisory capability, ideally in heavy industry or cement sectors.

What you would do

• Supervise day-to-day receiving operations, including offloading, checks, weighing and acceptance of materials.
• Inspect deliveries against orders for quantity and quality.
• Flag non-conformances and coordinate resolution with procurement, QA and logistics.
• Record receipts in ERP/WMS and generate Goods Received Notes.
• Manage the quarantine area for suspect or damaged materials and oversee disposal or return procedures.
• Lead receiving staff, including rostering, training and performance management.

• Bachelor's degree (BSc/HND) in supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years' experience in warehouse/stores receiving operations in heavy industry, manufacturing or cement sector.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP/WMS systems; SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Leadership and people management skills with stakeholder management.
