Store Audit Manager

JMG in Lagos seeks an experienced Store Audit Manager to oversee planning and execution of operational, financial, inventory and compliance audits across its stores. The role involves identifying control weaknesses, investigating discrepancies, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with company policies.

What you would do

• Develop and implement comprehensive store audit plans covering financial, operational, inventory and compliance areas
• Conduct regular and surprise audits across stores to assess controls, procedures and operational efficiency
• Review sales transactions, cash handling, inventory records, pricing, discounts, promotions and returns/exchanges
• Conduct physical inventory verification and investigate stock variances and discrepancies
• Identify and investigate risks relating to theft, fraud, inventory shrinkage and operational lapses
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, root causes and recommended corrective actions

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in retail audit, internal audit, store audit, loss prevention or a similar role
• Proven experience in inventory verification, stock reconciliation, fraud detection and internal controls
• Strong knowledge of audit principles, retail operations and risk management
