State Project Coordinator

About this role

The State Project Coordinator will oversee ASWHAN’s project activities in Kebbi State, providing leadership to the state team and coordinating with partners to ensure timely, budget-compliant implementation and reporting. The role is based in Kebbi and requires travel within the state; it targets candidates with NGO project management experience and knowledge of agriculture or food security components.

What you would do

• Oversee agricultural and livelihood interventions, including farmer training, input support and market linkages.
• Supervise and appraise state and LGA-based project staff.
• Oversee monitoring, learning and documentation of results and prepare reports.
• Plan and implement the Kebbi State work plan and meet targets on schedule.
• Prepare and submit timely programme and financial reports to the head office.
• Coordinate planning and field activities with consortium partners and manage budgets with Finance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, including coordination or supervisory roles in NGO/INGO.
• Experience managing donor-funded projects with agriculture or food security components.
• Willingness to be based in Kebbi State and travel to project LGAs.
• Strong budget management, donor reporting and team supervision skills.
• Fluency in English and Hausa.
