State Project Coordinator
About this role
A role leading ASWHAN’s project activities in Kebbi State, overseeing staff, donor reporting and coordination with government and partners. Designed for someone with project management experience in NGOs/INGOs, with responsibility for budgeting, reporting and field implementation in Kebbi.
What you would do
- Lead the Kebbi State work plan and ensure targets are met on schedule.
- Supervise and appraise state and LGA-based project staff.
- Oversee agricultural and livelihood interventions, including training, inputs and market linkages.
- Represent ASWHAN to government ministries, MDAs, LGA authorities and partners.
- Coordinate planning and field activities with consortium partners.
- Prepare and submit programme and financial reports to the head office; monitor results and documentation.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in project management, including coordination or supervisory work in NGO/INGO.
- Experience managing donor-funded projects with agriculture or food security components.
- Strong budget, donor reporting and team supervision skills.
- Good knowledge of Kebbi state context and local government structures.
- Fluency in English and Hausa; willing to be based in Kebbi and travel to LGAs.
