About this role

Ernst & Young in Lagos is seeking an Associate to join the Transfer Pricing team. The role involves supporting transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies, and advisory and controversy projects for a diverse portfolio of clients, with exposure to complex international tax issues.

What you would do

• Assist with the accurate filing of transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting obligations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports, including Master Files and Local Files, and review of Country-by-Country Reports in line with OECD guidelines and local regulations.
• Conduct economic and functional analyses to support transfer pricing positions.
• Perform benchmarking and comparability studies using databases and other research tools.
• Support the development and implementation of transfer pricing policies and strategies for clients.
• Assist in managing transfer pricing audits and controversy matters.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or Economics or Law or a related field with a minimum of second class (upper division) or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in transfer pricing.
• Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
