About this role
The SPECT Radiographer will deliver SPECT imaging services at AMCE Abuja, working with a multidisciplinary team to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning while following radiation safety and quality standards. The role targets experienced radiography professionals with specialised SPECT training and a focus on patient care and continuous improvement.
What you would do
- Perform SPECT scans according to protocols
- Prepare patients and provide explanations and reassurance during imaging
- Review image quality prior to interpretation
- Operate and maintain SPECT equipment and conduct quality checks
- Collaborate with physicians and nuclear medicine specialists on diagnosis and treatment planning
- Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and students

- Bachelor's degree in Radiography or related field
- Certification in SPECT imaging techniques (required)
- Minimum of 5 years' radiography experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with PACS/RIS systems
