SPECT Radiographer
About this role
A full-time SPECT Radiographer position in Abuja for AMCE, responsible for delivering SPECT imaging services, patient care and safety, in collaboration with medical specialists. Suitable for experienced radiographers with SPECT expertise who can mentor others and contribute to quality improvement.
What you would do
- Perform high-quality SPECT scans according to protocols
- Prepare patients, explain procedures and provide reassurance
- Review image quality before interpretation
- Operate, maintain and perform quality checks on SPECT equipment
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to support diagnosis and treatment planning
- Supervise and mentor junior radiographers and students
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiography or related field
- Master’s degree or advanced imaging certifications (CT, MRI)
- Certification in SPECT imaging techniques
- Minimum of 5 years’ radiography experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with PACS/RIS systems
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles and healthcare regulations
