Specialist, Product Management (Manager)

About this role

A senior product management professional will lead product development in an agile environment, manage roadmaps and backlogs, and ensure alignment with client needs and regulatory requirements. The role targets candidates with extensive B2B product management experience, preferably in fintech or banking-related domains, based in Lagos.

What you would do

• Lead and drive product development through scrum teams, write user stories, prioritise backlogs, and coordinate release activities.
• Track progress towards feature releases for Qore and ancillary products.
• Manage the product roadmap and prioritise features to deliver market-leading functionality.
• Maintain and update client-facing assets as new features are developed.
• Collaborate with the team to refine features and develop appropriate stories for development.
• Assess the impact of new features on the Product Operating Model across legal, data protection, sales, pre-sales, onboarding and support.

• BSc in any discipline from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years in B2B product development or product management, with knowledge of fintech or banking-related solutions preferred.
• Experience with agile product development and working in a squad using lean, design thinking frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Adobe Analytics) and understanding of product lifecycle.
• Ability to influence and interact with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
