About this role
IPMC seeks a Specialist in Independent Assurance and Technical Quality Review in Lagos. The role focuses on independently assessing advisory methodologies, data integrity, and technical findings across IPMC engagements, ensuring quality and credibility of outputs. The successful candidate will review methodologies, verify outputs against evidence and criteria, identify weaknesses, track corrective actions, and support evidence-based, high-quality client deliverables. The position targets professionals with experience in audit, assurance, technical review, risk or quality management, who can work independently across multidisciplinary engagements. What you would do
- Independently review assessment methodologies and supporting documentation
- Evaluate quality and consistency of technical and analytical outputs
- Test findings against evidence and established criteria
- Identify unsupported conclusions and reporting deficiencies
- Track corrective actions and verify their resolution
- Support the integrity and credibility of IPMC's analytical and assurance outputs
What they are asking for
- Degree in Accounting, Engineering, Risk Management, Environmental Management or another relevant discipline
- Preferably 8+ years of experience in audit, assurance, technical review, risk or quality management
- Relevant professional qualifications and demonstrated experience reviewing multidisciplinary advisory assignments (desirable)
- Ability to remain organisationally independent of assignments being reviewed
- Strong analytical, documentation and reporting capabilities to work across sectors
- Commitment to professional integrity, confidentiality and independence of judgment
