What you would do
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the banquets kitchen operation
- Plan, organise, direct and control kitchen operations and administration
- Support achieving maximum guest satisfaction through efficient kitchen management
- Contribute to maintaining brand standards and corporate strategies within the kitchen
- Help ensure the kitchen operates as an independent profit centre
- Support hygiene, health and safety compliance in the kitchen
- Assist in maintaining inventory and order supplies for banquets
- Participate in staff development and training as required
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and banquets
- Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation for banquets
What they are asking for
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant
- Experience with luxury international brands preferred
- Basic computer skills in MS Office; knowledge of Recipe Maintenance System preferred
- Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management is an advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
