About this role
A role assisting the Chef de Cuisine in managing an all day dining kitchen operation within Hyatt Lagos, aimed at ensuring high guest satisfaction and alignment with Hyatt brand standards.
What you would do
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine in running the kitchen operation
- Plan, organise and direct kitchen activities to meet standards
- Contribute to maintaining hygiene and safety practices
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen administration and cost control
- Support recipe maintenance and kitchen production processes
- Ensure guest satisfaction through quality food preparation and service
What they are asking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant
- Experience with luxury international brands preferred
- Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management advantageous
- Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational safety standards
- Basic computer skills (MS Office) and recipe maintenance system preferred
