Software Development Engineer

About this role

Role involves managing and delivering software development projects for enterprise applications, with responsibilities across planning, development, integration, maintenance and support for business-critical systems. Target candidates are experienced software professionals with a background in large-scale environments, ideally with Oil & Gas industry exposure.

What you would do

• Manage software development projects from planning through implementation
• Develop, integrate, maintain and support enterprise applications
• Ensure compliance with software development standards and lifecycle processes
• Lead application performance reviews, upgrades and maintenance activities
• Provide technical support, user training, acceptance testing and post-implementation assistance
• Ensure proper documentation of projects, procedures, processes and user manuals

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Engineering, Software Engineering, Information & Knowledge Management, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
• Minimum 15 years' experience in IS analysis, design, software development and management in large-scale enterprise environments
• Experience supporting E&P / Oil & Gas operations is highly desirable
• Knowledge of DBMS, Windows Server/Workstation environments, software development methodologies, data management and application support
• Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
