Social Media & Content Manager (Remote)

About this role

A remote, full-time role to lead the social media and content function for a client of Avocado Virtual Solutions. The position seeks a creative, proactive and results-driven professional to improve brand visibility, audience engagement, and digital growth through strategic content planning and execution.

What you would do

• Develop and implement social media and content strategies aligned with business goals
• Create, schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms
• Design graphics, promotional flyers, carousels, short-form videos and other digital assets
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages and mentions
• Maintain monthly content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content
• Track performance with analytics and provide recommendations for improvements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years’ experience in social media management, content creation or digital marketing
• Strong writing, copywriting and storytelling skills
• Experience creating graphics, videos, reels and other social content
• Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools and content performance metrics, plus excellent communication, creativity, organisation and time-management skills
