About this role

Almandine HR Consulting Limited, a human resources consulting firm, is recruiting for a full-time Social Media Assistant in Abuja. The role involves managing the company’s social media platforms, creating content, and promoting the brand to grow online visibility and engagement. The position reports to the Managing Director and is part of the Marketing and Communications department. The employer provides HR and recruitment services and aims to strengthen clients’ talent and brand presence through digital marketing activities.

What you would do

• Manage and update social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
• Create posts, captions, graphics, videos, and reels
• Develop and implement social media content calendars
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries
• Promote services, products, events, and activities on social media
• Increase brand awareness, followers, reach, and engagement
• Research trends, hashtags, and competitors to improve content
• Collaborate on marketing campaigns with management and team members
• Track and analyse social media performance using analytics tools
• Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports and support online advertising campaigns

• Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or related field
• Proven experience managing social media accounts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to create attractive and engaging content
• Knowledge of Canva and CapCut or similar tools
• Understanding of social media analytics and digital marketing
• Creativity, attention to detail, and good organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Portfolio of previous social media work is an added advantage
