SME Loan Officer
About this role
The SME Loan Officer will drive vehicle-based lending for SMEs, covering customer acquisition, credit assessment, disbursement and repayment monitoring. The role focuses on building SME customer relationships while maintaining portfolio quality.
What you would do
- Identify SMEs or individuals seeking vehicle-based financing and assess funding needs
- Evaluate loan applications, financial information, cash flows and repayment capacity
- Manage the loan process from application to disbursement and repayment monitoring
- Build and maintain relationships with SME customers and ensure timely repayments and portfolio quality
- Support credit decisions through thorough assessment and documentation
- Achieve lending targets and contribute to portfolio performance

- Bachelor's degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- 2 to 5 years of SME or commercial lending experience, with hands-on vehicle-based lending
- Strong understanding of credit assessment, loan structuring, collateral evaluation and repayment monitoring
- Proven ability to acquire and manage SME customers and meet lending/portfolio targets
