Site Storekeeper
About this role
Casalavoro Limited is hiring a Site Storekeeper for a project site in Abuja. The role focuses on receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking construction materials, tools, and supplies to support on-site work while maintaining accurate inventory and preventing losses. It involves coordinating with the procurement team and site engineers to ensure materials are available when needed. The company operates in real estate, hospitality, asset management, and agricultural trading. This is a full-time position based in Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT).
What you would do
- Receive and inspect materials, tools and equipment on delivery against purchase orders and delivery notes
- Record all stock movements and material transactions in stock registers
- Issue materials only with approved requisitions and document all disbursements
- Maintain daily records of stock levels, consumption and inventory
- Monitor stock levels and notify relevant personnel for replenishment
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile with inventory records
- Ensure proper storage and protection of materials and tools
- Maintain a register of issued tools and equipment and track returns
- Report missing, damaged or misused items to the appropriate authority
- Assist with periodic inventory reports and ensure compliance with safety procedures
What they are asking for
- OND or HND in Purchasing and Supply, Store Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
- Previous storekeeping experience, preferably on a construction site or in real estate/building sector
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools and storage requirements
- Understanding of inventory management, stock control and documentation
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
- Strong numerical, organisational and record-keeping skills
- High honesty, integrity, accountability and attention to detail
- Ability to identify stock discrepancies and prevent losses
- Good communication skills and ability to work with site personnel
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project timelines
