Site Engineer - Cross River
About this role
The role is for a Site Engineer/Technician responsible for daily operations and maintenance at Starsight Energy locations, with tasks spanning pre-construction to post-construction phases and ongoing stewardship of installed systems. The engineer will oversee electrical design aspects, maintenance, testing and repair of electrical equipment, and site assessments for new projects to evaluate power availability and constraints. What you would do
- Oversee maintenance, testing and repair of company-owned electrical equipment
- Perform site visits to assess power availability and site constraints for new projects
- Assist with instrumentation and control system design
- Develop and modify configuration programs and wiring diagrams for control panels
- Create plans for solar energy system development and monitoring
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and safety/quality standards
- Support procurement practices and lifecycle cost analysis
- Provide input on business strategy and functional plans
- Maintain risk management processes and escalate concerns to executives as needed
- Foster a high-performance culture and collaborative team environment
