Site Construction Supervisor
About this role
A site construction supervisor providing field-based support for safe wellbore construction activities, overseeing drilling operations from spud to handover and coordinating with contractors and service companies. What you would do
- Provide field-based technical support for wellbore construction activities.
- Supervise drilling operations according to approved programs and company standards.
- Coordinate well construction activities from spud through completion stages.
- Monitor drilling parameters, hole conditions, hydraulics, torque and drag, and other indicators.
- Review drilling, casing, cementing programs and related designs; ensure procedures are followed.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, PTW and regulatory requirements and participate in risk assessments and emergency drills.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Petroleum, Drilling, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant drilling or well construction experience, with strong field exposure.
- Experience in offshore, deepwater or complex well construction desirable.
- Knowledge of drilling operations, wellbore stability, hydraulics, casing and cementing, well control and integrity.
- Experience coordinating multiple oilfield service companies and drilling contractors.
- IWCF or IADC Well Control certification where required; knowledge of HSE, risk assessment and PTW.
