SEO Specialist

About this role

An experienced SEO Specialist is sought to boost organic visibility and player acquisition for gaming, betting, or iGaming platforms, with a focus on the Nigerian market. The role targets candidates who understand Nigeria’s gaming sector and have hands-on SEO experience in betting or gaming sites.

What you would do

• Develop and execute SEO strategies for gaming and betting websites
• Conduct keyword research and optimise content, landing pages and metadata
• Manage technical SEO, site structure, internal linking and indexing
• Develop and implement link-building and off-page SEO strategies
• Monitor organic traffic, rankings and performance using analytics tools
• Identify trends and opportunities with AI search platforms and competitive insights

What they are asking for

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience in gaming, iGaming or sports betting
• Strong knowledge of technical, on-page and off-page SEO
• Experience with Google Search Console, GA4 and Ahrefs/SEMrush
• Good understanding of keyword research, content strategy and link building
• Knowledge of the Nigerian search market and betting/gaming keywords
• Analytical and reporting skills
