What you would do
- Develop and grow relationships with prospective and existing clients in the Abuja market.
- Identify and convert opportunities for the firm’s investment and wealth management products.
- Promote and sell investment solutions such as mutual funds, fixed deposits, equity funds, dollar funds and other approved products.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and follow opportunities through to conversion.
- Provide clients with information and guidance on available investment solutions in line with approved processes and regulatory requirements.
- Develop relationships with HNIs, corporate clients, professionals, institutions and other target client segments.
- Monitor client portfolios and engage regularly to encourage retention and additional investment.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.
- 5–7 years’ relevant experience in wealth management, asset management, investment management, financial advisory, banking, securities or financial services.
- Demonstrable sales, business development or relationship management experience, preferably in financial services.
- Strong understanding of investment products and the Nigerian financial services market.
- Existing networks within Abuja/Northern Nigeria among HNIs, corporate clients and professionals (advantage).
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
