What you would do
- Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research across the product lifecycle
- Conduct interviews, ethnographic studies, usability tests, surveys, and diary studies with a Nigerian focus
- Synthesize data into actionable frameworks such as personas and journey maps
- Monitor fintech and consumer trends in Nigeria and similar markets
- Collaborate with product, design and engineering to translate business challenges into research questions
- Present findings to stakeholders to drive product improvements and structure research operations
What they are asking for
- 6+ years in UX or product research, ideally with digital B2C products
- Experience researching African markets, specifically Nigeria
- Expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods (co-creation, usability testing, literature reviews)
- Hands-on with research tools (eg, UserTesting, Maze, Typeform)
- Proven ability to translate insights into practical frameworks for business decisions
- Preferred: experience with Nigerian user communities, fintech/banking background, and scaling research in fast-growth environments
