Senior UX Researcher

What you would do
- Partner with product managers, designers and engineers to translate business challenges into research questions
- Structure and manage research operations, including participant management and maintaining research repositories
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Nigerian user needs to guide local expansion
- Present findings to stakeholders to drive action and product improvements
- Lead and execute end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research across the product lifecycle
- Stay updated on fintech and consumer trends in Nigeria and comparable markets
- Use methods such as in-depth interviews, ethnography, usability testing, surveys and diary studies
- Synthesize data into actionable insights and frameworks (e.g., personas, journey maps)
- Drive empathy across the team through clear communication and insights
- Contribute to continuously improving research processes and tools

- 6+ years of UX or product research experience, preferably with digital B2C products
- Hands-on experience with tools like UserTesting, Maze, Typeform or similar
- Advanced qualitative and quantitative research skills (co-creation, usability testing, literature reviews)

- Proven ability to translate insights into tangible frameworks guiding business decisions
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to present findings to stakeholders
