Senior Systems Administrator
About this role
The Senior Systems Administrator role at Nestoil Limited in Lagos resolves escalated service issues, mentors other ICT staff and leads complex engineering projects while overseeing data centre infrastructure. What you would do
- Manage Microsoft 365 and related services (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint) and oversee device enrolment, compliance and security controls
- Identify security risks in the Office 365 environment and implement mitigations; support hybrid Microsoft environments
- Build, support and maintain the VDI environment including templates, application delivery, antivirus, persona management, host servers and zero clients
- Develop and maintain the configuration management suite with Windows images, automated deployment, patch management and central imaging
- Manage the backup infrastructure (Veeam) and ensure data protection
- Administer Active Directory and Group Policy Objects and implement RBAC for enterprise computing solutions
What they are asking for
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- Professional qualifications: Microsoft Azure Administrator; Microsoft 365 Security Administrator; Microsoft Azure Security Engineer; ITIL Foundation
- Minimum four years of experience in Windows systems installation, operations, administration and maintenance of physical and virtualised servers
- Experience managing Windows Server OS and domain architecture including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Exchange, Certificate Services, GPOs, policies and permissions
- Extensive knowledge of Windows PowerShell, standard utilities and Windows security tools
- Strong knowledge of AD DS, authentication protocols (LDAPS, SAML, Kerberos), TCP/IP, VMware, NAS/SAN and ability to remediate security vulnerabilities; experience with Office 365 migrations and hybrid environments; familiarity with Teams and SharePoint
