What you would do
- Lead backend development and maintain server-side logic
- Own the services you work on from development to production health
- Collaborate with CloudEng to monitor and improve production environments
- Participate in on-call/off-hours support rotations for production issues
- Rotate into a support role for releases and dependency updates
- Apply AI-assisted development tools judiciously to improve speed and quality
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure backend systems and data contracts meet needs
- Work with frontend and cross-functional teams to align goals and API design
- Participate in code reviews to uphold quality and reliability
- Contribute to security and privacy reviews to meet compliance standards
