Senior Site Engineer

About this role

Senior Site Engineer responsible for managing all civil and external works on site, including roads, drainage, utilities and landscaping, and for coordinating with the civil engineering consultant and the residential block construction team. The role targets experienced civil engineers, ideally with Lagos State site experience and COREN registration.

What you would do

• Manage all civil and external works on site, including roads, drainage, boundary walls, security posts, treatment plants, power installations, street lighting and landscaping.
• Liaise with the civil engineer consultant on design details, site conditions and changes to the civil works design.
• Coordinate the civil works programme with the residential block construction programme to avoid conflicts over access, material storage and working areas.
• Oversee installation of utilities infrastructure including sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, generators, electrical distribution and fibre optic cabling.
• Manage setting-out and level control for roads and drainage in coordination with the Civil Works Land Surveyor.
• Maintain the civil works register and ensure readiness for commissioning prior to residential handover.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; COREN registration strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience with demonstrated work in road construction, drainage and utilities installation.
• Experience in utilities infrastructure installation including sewage treatment and water treatment systems (preferred).
• Lagos State site experience strongly preferred.
• Membership of NSE (Nigerian Society of Engineers) an advantage.
• Strong programme management and coordination skills for managing multiple civil workstreams.
