Senior Risk and Business Operations Analyst
About this role
The role is for a Senior Risk and Business Operations Analyst at CIML Outsourcing, based in Abuja. The position focuses on evaluating credit risk, strengthening operational processes, and supporting executive decision-making within lending and financial services. The successful candidate will assess customer records, issue loan offers after full evaluation and in-principle approval, and oversee operations across loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, and recovery. The role involves collaboration with various teams, monitoring risk and performance metrics, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance, and guiding loan agents and staff.
What you would do
- Collaborate with collections, finance, customer service and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare comprehensive credit evaluation reports for review and approval in principle by the Principal Partner/CEO.
- Issue formal loan offers to qualified customers after full evaluation and approval in principle.
- Conduct advanced credit assessments using financial statements and credit bureau data.
- Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends and operational KPIs.
- Enhance and oversee workflows across loan origination, underwriting, disbursement and recovery.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support audits.
- Manage activities of loan/sales agents and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, KYC/AML standards and internal credit policies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to loan agents and operational staff.

- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration or related field.

- 5–8 years of experience in credit risk, lending operations or financial-services risk management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Power BI or similar tools.
