Senior Reservoir Engineer

About this role

ND Western Limited is recruiting a Senior Reservoir Engineer to join the Technical Development team in Delta. The role is for an experienced reservoir engineer with strong skills in dynamic reservoir simulation, performance analysis, well tests, and depletion strategies, with involvement in resource estimation and reserves audits.

What you would do

• Perform dynamic reservoir simulation modelling using Petrel RE, Eclipse 100/300, PETEX Suites (MBAL/Prosper/GAP/Resolve), Kappa (Saphir/Topaz) and OFM.
• Conduct reservoir performance analysis.
• Design well tests.
• Develop depletion strategies.
• Estimate hydrocarbon resources.
• Support independent reserves audits.

What they are asking for

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree (M.Sc.) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Reservoir Engineering within the upstream oil & gas industry.
• Expert proficiency in reservoir simulation and modelling software, including Petrel RE, Eclipse 100/300 Suite, PETEX Suites (MBAL/Prosper/GAP/Resolve), Kappa (Saphir/Topaz), and OFM.
• Proven capability in dynamic reservoir simulation modelling, reservoir performance analysis, well test design, and depletion strategy development.
• Strong track record in hydrocarbon resource estimation, field development planning (FDP), production forecasting, and supporting independent reserves audits.
