Senior Reservoir Engineer

About this role

A Senior Reservoir Engineer is sought to lead reservoir evaluation, modelling and field development support in Lagos for Terra Energy Services Nigeria. The role integrates subsurface and production data to enhance safe, economical asset development and requires substantial upstream oil and gas experience.

What you would do

• Develop depletion strategies, production forecasts and reserves estimates
• Provide reservoir engineering input and technical assurance for field development and production planning
• Build, update and quality-assure reservoir simulation models and dynamic studies
• Conduct reservoir analyses (material balance, PVT, pressure transient, decline curve, surveillance)
• Perform uncertainty and risk analyses to support decisions
• Prepare technical reports, presentations and recommendations for management and stakeholders

What they are asking for

• Postgraduate qualification in Petroleum Engineering or Reservoir Engineering (advantageous)
• 10–15 years of relevant oil and gas experience with strong upstream E&P exposure
• Experience supporting field development, reserves evaluation and production optimisation
• Knowledge of HSE requirements, procedures and documentation standards
• Demonstrated expertise in reservoir engineering, dynamic modelling, surveillance and forecasting
• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; SPE membership desirable
