• Originate and close merchant and SME loan deals across key sectors.
• Manage end-to-end loan sales process from prospecting to disbursement and post-disbursement monitoring.
• Grow and actively manage a high-quality loan portfolio with strong utilisation and repayment performance.
• Drive repeat borrowing and up-sell within existing merchant portfolios.
• Collaborate with credit and risk teams to maintain underwriting quality while hitting targets.
• Promote offline payment solutions (POS) and ensure merchants process transactions to support lending and repayment tracking.

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in merchant lending, SME lending, business banking or fintech credit sales.
• Strong understanding of cashflow-based lending, underwriting and loan portfolio management.
• Experience managing lending portfolios of at least N2B+.
• Proven track record of loan book growth and meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
