Senior Registered Nurse in a Premium Wellness Clinic - HR SOL Consulting Limited
About this role
A premium wellness clinic in Lagos seeks a Senior Registered Nurse to lead daily nursing care, support the medical team and mentor other nurses. The role involves patient assessment, treatment administration, monitoring, and accurate record-keeping from initial assessment through follow-up. What you would do
- Assess and prepare patients for treatment, record medical history and vital signs
- Monitor patients before, during and after treatments and escalate adverse events
- Check prescriptions and ensure correct meds, dosing, and storage
- Assist with IV cannulation, infusions, injections and infusion equipment
- Support weight management and hormone care through prescribed treatments and follow-up
- Assist with ECGs, diagnostic checks and examinations as competent
- Recognise emergencies, provide basic life support and assist with stabilisation
- Collect and label specimens and coordinate handover to the laboratory
- Coordinate follow-up appointments, explain aftercare and ensure patient understanding
- Lead nursing participation in audits and coordinate daily nursing assignments and handovers
What they are asking for
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Registered Nurse qualification and current practising licence from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- At least five years post-qualification nursing experience, including supervision or mentoring
- Competence in IV cannulation, infusion administration, patient monitoring and adverse reaction recognition
- Strong communication, documentation and confidentiality
- Ability to use electronic medical records and work within a team
- Experience in outpatient care or private clinic settings preferred
- Desirable: preventive care, patient education, weight management, infusion services, emergency care, infection prevention or public health nursing
