Senior Quantity Surveyor
About this role
A Senior Quantity Surveyor is sought to manage the commercial and cost control aspects of Bluemool Limited’s construction and real estate projects in Lagos. The role targets candidates with 7–8 years of relevant experience in cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration overseeing project lifecycle finances.
What you would do
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, budgets and cost plans for construction projects.
- Review drawings to prepare quantities and cost estimates.
- Manage tendering and procurement processes, including tender documents and bid evaluation.
- Review and negotiate contractor, supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Monitor costs against budgets and report variances.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment certificates and final accounts.
What they are asking for
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- 7–8 years of relevant professional experience in construction, real estate development or property projects.
- Experience in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, valuation, procurement and cost control.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods and industry pricing.
- Understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Ability to read architectural, structural and MEP drawings; proficiency in Excel and QS software.
