Fort Hermon Limited is recruiting a Senior Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time role based in Ogun State. The position targets candidates with extensive QA/QC experience in civil construction, especially for warehouses, factories, and road projects. The role involves developing and implementing QA/QC plans, inspecting materials and works, reviewing drawings and ITPs, and coordinating with site teams to resolve quality issues. It requires immediate availability to work at the Shagamu project site and a background in construction quality standards, testing methods, and documentation. What you would do
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and project documents.
- Develop, implement and monitor QA/QC plans for construction activities.
- Inspect materials, workmanship and completed works for compliance with drawings and standards.
- Monitor concrete, structural, road construction and other civil activities for quality.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, consultants and project management to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests at various construction stages.
- Ensure activities comply with approved procedures and project quality requirements.
- Review technical drawings, method statements and ITPs.
- Identify, document and follow up on non-conformities and ensure corrective actions.
